Field investigator
Enquiry work, interviews and verification on the ground. Investigative journalism, law enforcement and intelligence backgrounds all translate well.
What the work looks like
Most weeks mix desk preparation with time in the field: identifying and approaching sources, sitting interviews, and confirming on the ground what the records only imply. You write your own findings and stand behind them.

Financial investigator
Following money through holding layers, trusts and jurisdictions — asset tracing, source of wealth, and the evidence to support both.
What the work looks like
You reconstruct ownership and money flow from filings, registers, court records and banking documentation, then set out what is established, what is inferred and what remains open — in a form counsel can use.

Open-source & records analyst
Patient work across corporate registries, court files, sanctions data and specialised sources. Precision matters more than speed.
What the work looks like
Long-form record work: pulling filings across jurisdictions, reading them properly, and separating a real match from a similar name. Languages beyond English are an advantage, method and patience more so.

Case management
Running mandates end to end — scoping, timelines, delivery — for clients who expect a calm, organised counterpart.
What the work looks like
You hold the file: scope agreed and conflicts cleared at intake, the client kept informed without being managed, and delivery on the date promised. The steady point between the client and the desk.
